Wilson GF matris yöntemi ile bazı klorluethan'ların titreşim frekanslarının hesaplanması

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmada moleküllerin titreşim frekanslarını hesaplamada kullanılan yöntemlerden biri olan Wilson GF Matris Yöntemi kullanılmıştır, önce bu hesaplamaları yapmak içi Fartran-4 dilinde yazılan programlar IBM bilgisayarlarda çalışacak şekilde düzenlenmiştir. Daha sonra bu yönteme örnek olarak l,2-Dichloroethane 1,1,2- Trichloroethane ve l,1,2,2-Tetrachloroethane nin titreşim frekansları hesaplanmıştır. Burada C-Cl gerilme frekansları temel alınmıştır. Bu frekans değerleri deneysel sonuçlarla karşılaştırılarak moleküllerin mümkün olan dönme izomerleri tesbit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Hesaplamalar sonucunda l,1,2,2-Tetrachloroethane ve 1,1,2- Trichloroethane in katı fazda sadece gauche formda, sıvı ve gaz fazda ise hem trans hem gauche formda bulunduğu tesfait edilmiştir. 1,2- Dichloroethane nin ise katı fazda tamamen gauche formda, sıvı ve gaz fazda ise hem gauche hem trans formda olduğu saptanmıştır. _Ayrıca moleküllerde bulunan küçük kütleli H atomlarının molekülde titreşim frekanslarına ne gibi bir,etkisinin olduğu araştırılmıştır.Molekülde H atomları çıkartılarak oluşturulan model moleküllerde C-Cl gerilme titreşim frekansları gerçek molekülünkinden daha büyük değerde bulunmuştur.Buradan da C-H bağ titreşimlerinin molekülde C-C1 gerilme titreşim frekanslarını azaltacak yönde bir etkisinin olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca C-C1 gerilme titreşimi, kendi değerinden küçük frekanslı titreşim modları ile kuplaja girdiğinde C-Cl gerilme titreşim frekansının arttığı /daha büyük frekanslardaki titreşim modları ile kuplaja girdiğinde ise C-Cl gerilme titreşim frekansının azaldığı saptanmıştır.

in ABSTRACT In this study Wilson GF Matris Method is used for calculations of vibrational frequencies of molecules. The programs which are written in Fortran-^- have been ordered for the use of IBM computer. The vibrational frequencies of 1,2-Dic h lor oe thane, 1,1,2-Tr ichloroethane and 1,1,2,2- Tetrach lor oe thane have been calculated as examples for this method. The C-Cl streching frequecies have been taken as a base with in this study. This frequencies have been compared with experimental datadR and Ra> and rotational isomers of molecules are tried to be assigned. From the calculations it has been that 1,1,2,2- Tetrachloroethane and 1,1,2-Tr ich lor oe thane are only in gauche isomer form in the solid state. They are in gauche and trans forms in gaseous and liquid states. 1,2- Dic h lor oe thane is only in trans form in solid state. İt is in gauche and trans forms in the liquid and gaseous states. Besides, the H atoms with small masses in the molecules and how they effect to the vibrational frequencies have been researched. The H atoms in the molecule have been taken out and a new model molecules have been made. After that, C-Cl streching vibrational frequencies have been calculated. Vibrational frequencies of model molecules have been found as bigger than vibrational frequencies of the mor mal molecule. It has been calculated that the C-H stretching frequencies have an effect in decreasing the C- CI stretching frequencies. It has seen that the C-Cl stretching vibrational frequency increases with the coupling between the C-Cl stretching and the lower frequency modes or vice versa.
