IV ÖZET Dört bölümden oluşan bu çalışmanın birinci bölümü diğer bölümlerin daha kolay anlaşılması için diferensiyel geometrideki bazı temel kavramlara ayrılmıştır. İkinci bölümde önce hemen hemen kompleks manifoldların inşaasmda kullanılacak cebirsel kavramlar ve holomorfîk fonksiyonlar verildikten sonra kompleks ve hemen hemen kompleks manifoldlar, Hermityen manifoldlar ve Kaehler manifoldlar verilmiştir. Daha sonra Kaehler manifoldlar için elde edilen kavramlar lokal koordinatlarda formülüze edilmiştir. Bundan sonra ise nearly Kaehler manifoldlar kısaca tanıtılmış ve bu bölümde ele alman manifoldlara çeşitli örnekler verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm CR-yapılara ayrılmıştır. Bu bölümde CR-manifoldlar tanıtılmış, keyfi bir manifoldun CR-manifold olması tartışılmıştır. Ayrıca bu bölümde kompleks manifoldların genel, anti-holomorfik ve CR-altmanifoldları tanımlanarak onlara ait karakteristik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde Kaehler manifoldların Kaehler, total reel ve CR- altmanifoldlan ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra CR-altmanifold üzerinde invaryant ve anti- invaryant distribüsyonların integrallenebilirliği verilmiştir. Bundan sonra CR- altmanifoldların, umbilik, pseudo umbilik ve normal sınıfları ele alınarak bunlara ait genel özellikler incelenmiştir.
ABSTRACT This thesis covers four chapters/such a way that in the first chapter to make it Jtf easily understood we give the basic concepts in differential geometry. In the second chapter we prepare some algebraic results on real and complex vector spaces and we give fundamental properties of holomorfic functions that will be applied to structures of almost complex and complex manifolds. In this chapter it's also given almost complex and complex manifolds, Hermitian manifolds and Kaehler manifolds. Then the results obtained in Kaehler manifolds are expressed in terms of local character. In addition the nearly Kaehler manifolds are introduced and various examples are given including almost complex, complex manifolds, Hermitian manifolds, Kaehler manifolds and nearly Kaehler manifolds. In the third chapter CR-structures is given. Especially the general theory of CR-manifolds is studied. It is also discussed being CR-manifold of any manifold. In addition, the definitions of generic, anti-holomorfic and CR-submanifolds of complex manifold were given. Moreover, some characteristic of these submanifolds were investigated. The fourth chapter is focuses on the study of submanifolds of Kaehler manifolds. We also studied complex submanifolds, anti-invariant submanifolds and CR-submanifolds of Kaehler manifolds. The integrability of both of invariant and anti-invariant distributions on a CR-submanifold are studied. After then we have given results on some special classes of CR-submanifolds of Kaehler manifolds; umbilical CR-submanifolds, pseudo-umbilical CR-submanifolds and normal CR- submanifolds. Finally we investigated some characteristic properties of these submanifolds.
