Okul Öncesi Dönem Çocuklarına Uygulanan Bilişsel Gelişimle İlgili Farklı Soru Türlerinin Psikometrik Özelliklerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada, okul öncesi dönem çocuklara uygulanan bilişsel gelişimle ilgili farklı soru türlerinin psikometrik özelliklerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Çalışmanın örneklemini 4-6 yaş çocuklar oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada, araştırmacı tarafından Bilişsel Gelişim Testi geliştirilmiş, ön denemesi gerçekleştirilerek geçerliğine ve güvenilirliğine ilişkin kanıtlar sunulmuştur. Bulgular: Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, sözlü yanıtlı ve çoktan seçmeli maddelerin uygulanmasından elde edilen verilere göre test ortalamalarının, standart sapmaların, ortalama güçlüklerin ve ortanca değerlerinin çok yakın sonuçlar verdiği belirlenmiştir. İki testten elde edilen puanlar arasındaki korelasyonun pozitif, orta düzeyde ve manidar olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sözlü yanıtlı maddelerin çocuklar için daha güç, çoktan seçmeli maddelerin ise daha çok orta güçlükte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sözlü yanıtlı ve çoktan seçme gerektiren maddelerde ayırıcılık gücü indeksleri incelendiğinde, sözlü yanıtlı maddelerin ayırıcılıklarının çoktan seçmeli maddelere göre daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuçlar ve Öneriler: Sözlü yanıtlı maddelerin çocuklar için daha güç, çoktan seçmeli maddelerin ise daha çok orta güçlükte olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sözlü yanıtlı maddelerin ayırıcılıklarının çoktan seçmeli maddelere göre daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Her iki testte de alt ve üst grup arasındaki puanların manidar düzeyde farklılaştığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
