Müzik öğretmenlerinin görev yaptıkları eğitim kurumunun çevresel koşullarının öğretmen motivasyonu üzerindeki etkisi (Osmaniye ili örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Osmaniye ilinde görev yapmakta olan müzik öğretmenlerinin, görev yaptıkları eğitim kurumundaki var olan çevresel koşulların, müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonlarına yönelik olumlu-olumsuz etkileri araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi Osmaniye ilinde 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında özel ve devlet okullarında görev yapmakta olan müzik öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaçla Osmaniye il merkezi ve ilçelerinde yer alan devlet okullarında ve özel okullarda görevde yapmakta olan 44 müzik öğretmenine uygulanmak üzere bir anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Google Formlar üzerinden oluşturulan anketin 7 maddelik ilk bölümü çeşitli demografik değişkenlere yönelik olarak hazırlanmıştır. Yine anketin ikinci bölümünde yer alan 23 maddelik bölümü ise müzik öğretmenlerinin farklı durumlarda motivasyon görüşlerinin alınmasına yönelik olarak 5'li likert sisteminde hazırlanmıştır. Anketin 23 maddelik ikinci bölümü içerik olarak müzik öğretmenlerinin görev yapmakta oldukları il ve çalışılan okullarda var olan fiziksel koşullar, sosyal çevre, teknik altyapı, idareci, branş-diğer branş öğretmen, veli ve öğrencilerin tutumları gibi faktörlerin müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonlarını ne derecede etkili olabileceğine yönelik sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Elde edilen anket verileri SPSS v.23 programında analiz edilerek frekans ve yüzde sonuçları tablo ve grafiklere dönüştürülmüştür. Yine ankette yer alan likert tipinde hazırlanmış soruların geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik analizleri de yapılmıştır. Elde edilen geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik analizlerine göre ankette yer alan soruların geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu tespit edilmiştir(α=0.853). Çalışmada elde edilen verilere göre, müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonlarının sosyal çevre ve fiziksel koşullardan, çalıştıkları kurumlarda müzik donanımlı bir müzik sınıfı, sahneleme ekipmanlarının varlığı, öğretim teknolojilerine yönelik gerekli araçların sınıflarda var olması gibi durumlarda olumlu-olumsuz etkilenebildiği sonuçları tespit edilmiştir. Yine çalışmada, müzik öğretmenlerinin sosyal medyada var olan dijital müzik(mp3, mp4 vs.) içeriğini derslerde kullanıldıklarında çalışma motivasyonları üzerinde olumlu etkilerin ortaya çıktığına yönelik sonuçlar ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen bir başka sonuca göre okul idaresinin, il yönetiminin müzik öğretmenlerinin hazırlamış oldukları mesleki etkinliklere karşı olumlu-olumsuz tutumlarının, müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonu üzerinde etkili olduğu da görülmektedir. Çalıştıkları ilde düzenlenen kültürel ve sosyal etkinliklerin var olması ve bunlara katılabiliyor olmanın da müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonları üzerinde olumlu etkileri olduğu görülmektedir. Müzik öğretmenlerinin çalıştıkları bölgede konser etkinliklerinin sahneleneceği mekânlarının, müzik mağazalarının bulunmasının da müzik öğretmenlerinin çalışma motivasyonları üzerinde olumlu etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaşadıkları bölgedeki ulaşım, iklim koşulları gibi durumlarının da tespitinin yapıldığı çalışmada genel olarak elde edilen veriler ışığında, müzik öğretmenlerinin çevresel koşulların çalışma motivasyonlarına yönelin olarak hangi durumlarda olumlu motivasyon sağlayabildiği konusunda önemli bilgiler elde edilmiştir. Bu bilgiler ile birlikte müzik öğretmenlerinin motivasyonlarının yüksek düzeyde tutularak daha etkili, verimli çalışmalarını sağlayabilmek amacı ile görüş ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur. In this study, the positive and negative effects of the existing environmental conditions of the music teachers working in Osmaniye province on the motivation of working of music teachers were investigated. The sample of the study consists of music teachers working in private and public schools in Osmaniye in 2018-2019 academic year. For this purpose, a questionnaire was prepared to be applied to 44 music teachers working in public and private schools in Osmaniye city center and districts. The first section of the 7-item questionnaire, which was created on Google Forms, was prepared for various demographic variables. In the second part of the questionnaire, the 23-item section was prepared in a 5-point Likert system to get the motivation views of music teachers in different situations. In the second part of the questionnaire, the second part of the questionnaire is based on the factors such as the physical conditions, social environment, technical infrastructure, administrator, branch-other branch teachers, parents and students' attitudes of the music teachers in the provinces and the schools where they work. questions. The survey data obtained were analyzed in SPSS v.23 program and frequency and percentage results were converted into tables and graphs. The validity and reliability analyzes of the likert type questions were also performed. According to the validity and reliability analyzes, the questions in the questionnaire were found to be valid and reliable (α = 0.853). According to the data obtained from the study, it was determined that the motivation of the music teachers from the social environment and physical conditions could be positively and negatively affected by the presence of music-equipped music class, staging equipment, and the presence of the necessary tools for instructional technologies in the classrooms. Again, the results showed that when the content of digital music (mp3, mp4, etc.) present in social media was used in the lessons, music teachers had positive effects on their motivation. According to another result obtained from the study, it is seen that the positive and negative attitudes of the school administration and the provincial administration towards the professional activities prepared by the music teachers have an effect on the motivation of the music teachers. The presence and participation of cultural and social activities in the province they work in has a positive effect on the motivation of music teachers. It has been determined that the presence of music stores and music stores in the region where concert activities will be performed have positive effects on the motivation of music teachers. In the study, where the conditions such as transportation and climatic conditions in the region they live in are also determined, in the light of the data obtained in general, important information has been obtained about the situations in which music teachers can provide positive motivation towards working motivations. Together with this information, opinions and suggestions were made in order to keep the motivation of music teachers at a high level and to enable them to work more effectively and efficiently.
