Sözleşmeli öğretmenlerin sözleşmeli öğretmenlik uygulamasına ilişkin deneyimleri ve görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sözleşmeli öğretmenlerin sözleşmeli öğretmenlik uygulaması hakkında deneyimleri ve görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amacı gerçekleştirebilmek için nitel araştırma yöntemleri arasında yer alan olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunun belirlenmesinde amaçlı örneklem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Şanlıurfa ilinin Hilvan ilçesinde görev yapan sözleşmeli öğretmenler, çalışma grubunu ise ilçe merkezinde her kademeden belirli sayıda olan 37 sözleşmeli öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, sözleşmeli öğretmenler sözleşmeli öğretmenlik uygulamasını olumsuz değerlendirmekte, sözleşmeli öğretmenlik seçiminde uygulanan sözlü sınav yöntemini eleştirmekte ve alternatif yöntemler önermekte, kadrolu öğretmenlerin sahip olduğu haklardan aynı şekilde yararlanmak istemekte ve ancak uygulamanın kaldırılmasıyla adaletin sağlanabileceğini düşünmektedirler. Sözleşmeli öğretmenlerin özlük haklarını yeniden gözden geçirme ve kalkınmada öncelikli yörelerde öğretmenlerin uzun süre görev yapmalarını özendirici unsurları hayata geçirme çalışmaları yapılabilir.

The aim of this study is to determine the experiences and views of contracted teachers about contracted teaching practice. In order to realize this aim, phenomenology pattern which is one of the qualitative research methods was used. Purposeful sampling was used to determine the study group. The population of the research consists of contracted teachers working in Hilvan district of Şanlıurfa province and 37 contracted teachers from each level in the district center are study group. According to the results of the research, contracted teachers evaluate the contracted teaching practice negatively, criticize the oral examination method used in the selection of contracted teachers and propose alternative methods, want to benefit from the rights of permanent teachers and think that justice can only be achieved by abolishing the practice. It may be possible to revise the personal rights of contracted teachers and to implement the elements that encourage teachers to work for a long time in priority regions in development.
