Türk solu ve Ortadoğu (1960-1971)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, 1960-1971 döneminde Türk solu'nun Ortadoğu bakışı ele alınıp incelenecektir. Bu dönemde meydana gelen U2 Uçak Krizi, Küba Krizi, Kıbrıs Meselesi ve Johnson mektupları, Arap-İsrail savaşı vb olaylar karşısında Türk solunda ne gibi değişimler yaşandığı ve Ortadoğu'da meydana gelen olaylar çerçevesinde Türk solunun yüzünü Ortadoğu'ya dönmesindeki etkiler ele alınacaktır. 1960-1971 döneminde bölgesel politikaların belirlenmesinde hangi faktörlerin etkili olduğu sorunsallaştırılmıştır. Türkiye, kimliğini yeniden sorgulama ihtiyacı hissetmiştir. 1971'de 12 Mart Muhtırasıyla Türk solunun Ortadoğu bakışında bir kırılma yaşanmıştır. Türk solunun Ortadoğu'ya yönelik bakışında kamuoyunun ve iç, dış politikanın da etkisi çerçevesinde gelişmiştir. Bu açıdan Türk solu, meydana gelen politikalarda muhalif bir ses olarak kamuoyu oluşturmuş ve Türk dış politikasını etkilemiştir.

In this study, the Middle East perspective of the Turkish left in the period 1960-1971 will be handled and analyzed. What kind of changes have been experienced in the Turkish left in the face of the events such as the U2 Airplane Crisis, the Cuban Crisis, the Cyprus Issue and Johnson letters, the Arab-Israeli war, etc., and the effects of the Turkish Left turning its face to the Middle East within the framework of the events in the Middle East will be discussed. Which factors were effective in determining regional policies in the 1960-1971 period was problematized. Turkey, questioning her identity needs to feel again. In 1971, there was a break in the Middle East perspective of the Turkish Left with the March 12 Memorandum. The view of the Turkish left towards the Middle East has developed within the framework of the influence of public opinion and domestic and foreign policy. In this respect, the Turkish left formed the public opinion as an opposing voice in the policies that occurred and influenced Turkish foreign policy.
