Ortaöğretim okulu müdürlerinin değişimi yönetme davranışlarına ilişkin öğretmen algılarının değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaöğretim okul müdürlerinin değişimi yönetme davranışlarına ilişkin öğretmen algıları ile bu algılar arasında bazı değişkenlere göre fark olup olmadığını belirlemektir. Araştırma, tarama modeline göre yapılmış betimsel bir çalışmadır. Araştırmadaki veriler “Değişim Yönetimi Davranış Ölçeği” aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Ortaöğretim okullarındaki 152 öğretmenden elde edilen veriler analiz için uygun bulunmuştur. Veri analizinde; frekans, aritmetik ortalama, t- testi ve ANOVA hesaplanmıştır. Öğretmen algılarına göre ortaöğretim okul müdürleri, “değişim sürecini etkileyen veli ve öğretmenleri”, “çoğunlukla” dikkate alırken, “değişimi gerçekleştirmek için risk alma” davranışını “ara sıra” gerçekleştirmektedirler. Okul müdürlerinin değişimi yönetme davranışlarına ilişkin öğretmen algıları cinsiyetlerine, kıdemlerine, branşlarına ve çalıştıkları okul türüne göre anlamlı farklılık göstermemektedir.

The aim of this study is to investigate teacher perceptions related to behaviors of high school principals’ management of change and whether there is any difference between these perceptions according to some variables. The research is a descriptive study based on survey model. The data for the research were obtained by means of “Change Management Behavior Scale”. The data obtained from 152 high school teachers were considered as convenient for the analysis. Data were analyzed by using frequency, mean, t-test and ANOVA test. Results showed that according to the perceptions of the teachers, high school principals “sometimes’’ realize the behaviors of ‘‘taking risks to carry out the change’’ while they ‘‘usually’’ consider ‘‘the parents and teachers affecting the change process’’. The teacher perceptions related to the behaviors of high school principals’ change management didn’t show any significant differences according to teachers’ gender, seniority, branch and type of the school that teachers work at.
