Öz:Ülkemizde ana dili eğitiminin en önemli parçasını oluşturan Türkçe yapılmaktadır. İçinde birçok farklı amaç ve kazanım içeren bu derslerin uygulama aşamasında çeşitli sorunlarla karşılaşılmaktadır. Yaşanan sorunlardan dolayı öğrencilerin Türkçe öğretimi açısından hedeflenen düzeyin çok gerisinde kaldıkları görülmektedir. Bu durum öğrencilerin, hem sonraki eğitim kademelerinde hem de yaşamlarının ilerleyen yıllarında ana dilini etkili ve yeterli düzeyde kullanamamanın yarattığı problemlerle karşılaşmalarına sebep olmaktadır. Bu çalışma Türkçe öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunların neler olduğunu ve hangi sebeplerden kaynaklandığını ortaokullarda görev yapan Türkçe öğretmenlerinin konuyla ilgili görüşleri vasıtasıyla ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. yöntemlerinden görüşme tekniğinin kullanıldığı araştırmanın evrenini Muş ili Merkez ilçesinde görev yapan Türkçe öğretmenleri oluştururken örneklemini ise Muş ili Merkez ilçesinde görev yapan 30 Türkçe öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış olup öğretmenler, toplam 11 açık uçlu soruya cevap vermişlerdir. Toplanan veriler araştırmacılar tarafından betimsel analize tabi tutulmuş ve benzer yanıtlardan elde edilen ifadelerle çeşitli temalar oluşturulmuştur. Sonuçlara bakıldığında öğretmenlerin Türkçe öğretiminde öğrenme alanlarıyla ilgili olarak birçok problemle karşılaştıkları, verimli bir öğrenme-öğretme ortamının sağlanamadığı, öğrencilerin ortaokul öncesi kademelerde kazanmaları gereken becerileri kazanamadıkları ve bu kademeye birçok eksiklikle geldikleri belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen sorunların çözümüne yönelik olarak ise öğretmenler tarafından farklı öneriler sunulmuştur
Abstract:Being a significant part of native language education in Turkey, Turkish Language Teaching is carried out through Turkish language courses at secondary schools. A variety of problems emerge at the phase of practicing these courses which include many different objectives and acquisitions. It is observed that students remain much behind the targeted level in terms of Turkish language teaching due to such problems. This situation leads to problems related to the lack of efficient and satisfactory use of native language for students in following years of their education. This study aims to reveal the problems encountered in Turkish language education and the reasons of these problems through the views of Turkish language teachers being assigned at secondary schools. In line with this aim, interview method was used as a qualitative research method in this study. The research population consists of Turkish language teachers being assigned in Central district of Muş province while the research sampling consists of thirty Turkish language teachers being assigned in the same place. Semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool and teachers answered ten open-ended questions. The researchers conducted descriptive analysis on the collected data and various themes were created through the expressions obtained from the answers. According to the results, it was found that teachers encounter many problems in learning fields of Turkish language teaching; an efficient learning-teaching environment cannot be achieved; students could not acquire the necessary skills for secondary school grade in previous grades and they have many deficiencies at the secondary school level. Teachers brought various suggestions towards the resolution of these problems
