öğrencilerin %36.5’i kadınlar, %63.5’i erkeklerden oluşmaktadır.
yüzde dağılımları değerlendirildiğinde; öğrenciler %59.1’i yeterli düzeyde, %33.2’si düşük düzeyde fiziksel
The main purpose of this study is to identify students’ physical activity levels and to investigate the relationships
between their physical activity levels and various variables such as departments, grades, ages, genders, tobacco
and alcohol consumption status. Two hundred and eight university students from Faculty of Sport Science
participated in this study. 36.5% of the students in the study population were female and 63.5% of them were
male. The Short Form of International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used to assess the physical
activity levels of students at faculty of sport science. The SPSS 22 software package (SPSS) was used for
statistical analysis. In the data analysis, “frequencies, percentage, Chi-Square” were used. The significance level
is accepted as .05 during the statistical analysis. According to study findings, when we examined the frequency
and percentage distribution of students’ physical activity levels who are studying at Faculty of Sport Sciences, it
is determined that %7.7 of students were attending low intensity physical activity (LIPA) while %33.2 of them
were attending middle intensity physical activity (MIPA) and %59.1 of them were attending high intensity
physical activity (HIPA). There is no significant difference between students’ physical activity levels according
to departments, grades, ages, genders, tobacco consumption status and alcohol consumption status.
