Çevre muhasebesi ile ilgili muhasebe meslek mensupları üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Çevre sorunlarının artması, ekonomik, sosyal ve teknolojik gelişmeler nedeniyle çevre muhasebesinin önemi artmaktadır. Çevre muhasebesinin temelinde sosyal sorumluluk kavramı vardır. Çevre muhasebesini oluşturan unsurların en önemlisi çevresel maliyetlerdir. Tekdüzen hesap planında çevresel maliyetler için ayrı bir hesap grubu bulunmamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, çevresel maliyetlerin muhasebeleştirilmesi ve Tekdüzen Hesap Planında çevre ile ilgili hesaplar bir örnekle açıklanmaktadır. Anket Elazığ ilinde faaliyet gösteren muhasebe meslek mensupları üzerinde uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada kırk muhasebeci üzerinde uygulanan bir anket çalışmasının sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir. Uygulanan anket üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm muhasebecilere ilişkin genel bilgileri içerir. İkinci bölüm muhasebecilerin çevre konusundaki bilgi ve düşünceleri ile ilgilidir. Üçüncü bölüm muhasebecilerin çevre muhasebesi konusundaki bilgi ve düşüncelerini içerir. Araştırmanın amacı, muhasebecilerin çevre konusu ve çevre muhasebesi hakkındaki düşüncelerini tespit etmektir.

Significance of environmental accounting is increasing because of increasing of environment problems, economic, social and technological developments. There is concept of social responsibility in the basis of environmental accounting. The most important of components that make up environmental accounting are environmental costs. Different an account group for environmental costs haven’t found in the Uniform Chart of Account. In this study, accounting of environmental costs and accounts concerned with environment in Uniform Chart of Account explain with an example. Questionnaire was applied on the member of accounting profession working in the Elazığ city. In the study applying on forty accountants are given to the results of a survey. Applied questionnaire have formed from three parts. The first part includes general informations concerning accountants. The second part deals with information and opinions of accountants in environmental matter. The third part contains informations and opinions of accountants in environmental accounting matter. The aim of study is determine to accountants’ opinions about environment subject and environmental accounting.
