Müzik, medeniyetin ilerleyişiyle beraber insan yaşamını en çok etkileyen ve gelişen sanat dallarından biri haline gelmiş,
aynı zamanda, sahip olduğu kültürel rolü de, önemini yitirmeden sürdürmüştür. Diğer yandan eğitim biliminin
gelişmesi, müzik eğitiminin de gelişip çeşitlenmesine sebep olmuş, farklı ulusların ve kültürlerin müzik eğitim
süreçlerinde kendilerine has yaklaşımlar ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma, Erciyes Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi
Müzik Bölümü öğrencilerinin sahip oldukları kültürel profillere odaklanmaktadır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin kültürel ve
müzikal donanımlarını tespit etmeye yönelik veriler toplanmıştır. Bu veriler ışığında müzik eğitiminin kültürel katmanı
ve bu katmanın öğrenci profili ile etkileşimleri ele alınmıştır. Sonuçta, öğrencilerin yoğunlukla Anadolu kültüründen
geldikleri ve Batı kültürü ve müziği ile yeterince iç içe olmadıkları görülmüştür. Araştırmanın yürütüldüğü kurumdaki
mevcut flüt müfredatı incelenmiş, yazılı ve elektronik ortamda kaynak taraması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler
araştırmacının mesleki deneyimi doğrultusunda incelenerek, teknik çalışma yazılmıştır. Bu çalışmalar geleneksel müzik
öğeleri ile flüt tekniklerini harmanlamakta, aynı zamanda öğrencilerin kültürel profili ile eğitimi verilen çalgı teknikleri
arasında köprü oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir.
Music is one of to most influencing and developing art in the civilization history which also has an important role in any
culture. On the other hand, improvement of the education and the pedagogy has enhanced the music education in the
world. Various kind of music education approaches have appeared in different countries and diverse cultures. Research
is aimed at finding out the cultural and musical backgrounds of the students. Following the information collected an
example flute etude including Traditional Turkish Music aspects has composed by the researcher. This research focuses
on the students’ cultural profiles at Erciyes University College of Fine Arts School of Music. A survey has applied to
the students in order to collect information about their cultural and musical backgrounds, musical preferences and their
thoughts about the purpose of this research. As a result, it’s obvious that most of the students have come from
traditional culture and barely involved with The Western music and culture. An investigation has made about the
current flute curriculum applied at Erciyes University College of Fine Arts School of Music. A Review has made in
both Electronic and printed sources. An example flute etude including Traditional Turkish Music aspects has composed
at the end of the research. This etude carefully blends flute techniques and Traditional Turkish Music aspects. This
research aims at becoming a bridge between students’ musical backgrounds and western music instrument “Flute.”
