Genel cerrahi hastalarında ameliyat sonrası konstipasyon riskinin değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, genel cerrahi hastalarında ameliyat sonrası konstipasyon riskinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapıldı. Araştırma, Elazığ Kovancılar Devlet Hastanesi Genel Cerrahi Servisi’nde, Mart 2013 – Ağustos 2014 tarihleri arasında yapıldı. Araştırmanın evrenini sözü edilen serviste ameliyat olan tüm yetişkin hastalar oluşturdu. Örneklemi ise bu hastalar arasından olasılıksız rastlantısal örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen, iletişim kurulabilen ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü 90 hasta oluşturdu. Veriler Hasta Tanıtım Formu ve Konstipasyon Risk Değerlendirme Ölçeği aracılığıyla yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi kullanılarak toplandı. Veriler; sayı, yüzde, ortalama standart sapma, Kruskal-Wallis varyans analizi ve bağımsız gruplarda t testi kullanılarak analiz edildi. Araştırmaya katılan hastaların %56.7’si konstipasyon gelişimi açısından orta risk grubundaydı. Araştırmada hastaların Konstipasyon Risk Değerlendirme Ölçeği puan ortalamasının 12.98 ± 4.84 olduğu belirlendi. Konstipasyon riskinin 45-54 yaş arasında olan, cinsiyeti kadın olan, çalışmayan, beden kitle indeksine göre şişman sınıfında olan, apendektomi ameliyatı olan ve haftada sadece bir kez defekasyon yapan hastalarda istatistiksel olarak önemli düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu saptandı.

In general this research was made as a descriptive study to assess the risk of postoperative constipation for surgical patients. Research was conducted in Elazığ Kovancılar State Hospital General Surgery Service, between March 2013 and August 2014. The research population was all the adult patients who underwent surgery in that service. The sample of these patients selected by the improbable random sampling method, 90 patients who can communicate and who volunteered to participate in the study. Datas were collected via Patient Identification Form and Constipation Risk Assessment Scale and by using face to face interviews. Datas were analyzed by number, percentage, mean Standard deviation, the Kruskal-Wallis analysis of variance and using t test in independent groups. The 56.7% percent of the patients who participated in the study were in medium risk groups in terms of the development of constipation and constipation. At research the average of the risk of constipation and Risk Assessment Scale score was determined to be 12.98 ± 4.84. Statistically the risk of constipation level was significantly found to be higher among the patients who is between the ages of 45-54, women ,not working, at the risk of obesity, who underwent appendectomy and that the ones who do defecation only once a week.
