dc.description.abstract Detoxification and biodegradation of olive oil mill wastewater (OOMW) and toxicity (antibacterial effect) of untreated and treated (detoxified with Trametes versicolor) OOMW on a soil bacterium, P. aeruginosa were determined. T. versicolor biodegraded and detoxified OOMW. This research showed that T. versicolor can be satisfactorily used for biodegradation and detoxification of this waste.
