Bu araştırmanın amacı, okulöncesi eğitim kurumlarında görev yapan öğretmenlerin
aile katılım stratejilerinin düzeyini belirlemektir. Araştırmada betimsel yöntem
tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılında
Elazığ il merkezinde 23 okulda görev yapan 230, Bingöl il merkezlerinde 8 okulda
görev yapan 80 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma örnekleminin seçiminde uygun
örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Uygun örnekleme yönteminde kolay ulaşılabilen
katılımcılar araştırmanın örnekleminde yer alır. Elazığ ilinden 159, Bingöl ilinden de
75 ölçme aracı değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan “Okul Öncesi
Öğretmenlerinin Uyguladıkları Aile Katılım Stratejilerini Belirleme Ölçeği (AKSBÖ)”
Keleş ve Dikici Sığırtmaç (2016) tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Okul öncesi
öğretmenlerinin uyguladıkları aile katılım stratejilerinin düzeyini belirlemek
amacıyla ölçekte 30 madde bulunmaktadır. Yapılan birinci açımlayıcı faktör analizi
sonucunda ölçekten 5 madde çıkarılmış ve ölçek 25 maddeye inmiştir. Çalışma
sonucunda, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin; öğretmen destekli aile iletişimi, okul
yönetimi-ev ziyaretleri alt boyutları ve ölçeğin tamamında yer alan aile katılım
stratejilerini sık sık düzeyinde; Öğretmen-aile bilgilendirme alt boyutundaki aile
katılım stratejilerini ara sıra düzeyinde ve aile eğitimi alt boyutundaki aile katılım
stratejilerini ise, nadiren düzeyinde kullandıkları belirlenmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to determine the family participation strategies of
teachers who work in preschool education institutions. Descriptive method scanning
study was used. The universe of the study consists of 230 teachers from 23 schools in
Elazığ province center and 80 teachers from 8 schools in Bingöl province center in
the academic year of 2016-2017. In the provinces, it is thought that the number of
preschool schools is small and the number of teachers working in these schools is low,
and all the schools have been reached without using sampling method. 159
measurement tools from Elazığ and 75 measurement tools from Bingöl province were
taken into consideration. The scale of "The Scale for Determining Family Participation
Strategies Implemented by Preschool Teachers (AKSBÖ)” used in the research was
developed by Keleş and Dikici Sığırtmaç (2016). It has been determined that preschool
teachers apply the subscales of teacher-supported family communication and
school management-home visits and family participation strategies in the whole
scale in the level of often; the family participation strategies in the sub-dimension of
teacher-family information in the level of occasionally and family participation
strategies in the sub-dimension of family education in the level of rarely.
