dc.description.abstract Six 1-alkylbenzimidazole have been prepared and characterized by conventional spectroscopic methods and elemental analyses. Novel in situ generated palladium-benzimidazole complexes, tested in the Suzuki coupling reaction between phenylboronic acid and several aryl chlorides showed excellent catalytic activity.
