Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı, minivida destekli ve minivida desteksiz mandibular molar mezializasyon yöntemlerini sonlu elemanlar analizi ile incelemektir. Materyal ve Metot: Sonlu elemanlar analizi programı kullanılarak 4 farklı çalışma modeli oluşturulmuştur. Modeller, minividadan 2. molar dişin çengeline (1. Model), minividadan 2. molar dişin direnç merkezine uzatılmış kola (2. Model), indirek ankraj ile 2. molar dişin çengeline (3. Model) ve diş destekli ankraj ile 2. molar dişin çengeline (4. Model) kuvvet verilmesi şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Her bir modelde dişte, alveol kemiğinde ve minividanın etrafında oluşan maksimum ve minimum asal gerilmeler, Von Mises stres analizi ve dişlerde oluşan hareket şekilleri ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Bulgular: Direk ankrajla molar dişin çengeline kuvvet verilmesi sonucunda dişte daha çok mezial yönde devrilme oluşmuştur. Stres ve gerilmeler ise yoğun bir şekilde molar dişin ve minividanın etrafında gözlemlenmiştir. İkinci modelde molar dişte paralel hareket oluştuğu, gerilme ve streslerin daha dengeli bir şekilde yayıldığı görülmüştür. Üçüncü ve dördüncü modellerde molar dişte hafif devrilme ile mezializasyon benzer şekilde gerçekleşmiştir ancak stres ve gerilmeler farklılık göstermiştir. Sonuç: Molar dişin gövdesel mezializasyonunda, dişin direnç merkezine uzatılan koldan minividaya uygulanan kuvvet daha etkili olmaktadır. Bu kuvvet esnasında oluşan gerilme ve stresler daha dengeli bir şekilde dağılım göstermektedir. Minividanın ankraj olarak kullanılması ile dişler etrafında oluşan stres ve gerilmeler önemli ölçüde azalmaktadır.
Aim: The aim of our study is to examine the miniscrew supported and non-miniscrew supported mandibular molar mesialization methods with finite element analysis. Material and Method: Four different working models were created using the finite element analysis program. The models are formed by giving strength from miniscrew to the hook of the 2nd molar (Model 1), from the miniscrew to the arm extended to the center of resistance of the 2nd molar (Model 2), from the hook of the 2nd molar with indirect anchorage (Molar 3), and from the hook of 2nd molar with tooth-supported anchorage (Model 4). Maximum and minimum principal stresses in the tooth, alveolar bone and around the miniscrew in each model, Von Mises stress analysis and movement patterns in the teeth were examined separately. Results: As a result of the first model, the tooth was tipped mesially. Stress and strains were observed intensely around the molar tooth and miniscrew. In the second model, parallel movement of second molar occurred, stress were spreaded more evenly. In the third and fourth models, tipping and mesialization of the molar were similar, but the stresses and strains were different. Conclusion: The force applied to the miniscrew from the arm extended to the resistance center of the tooth is more effective. The stresses and stresses that occur during this force are more evenly distributed. With the use of the miniscrew as an anchor, the stress and tensions around the teeth are significantly reduced.
