dc.description.abstract Abstract Writing proficiency is one of the most difficult areas that individuals acquire. It constitutes an important in the studies of Turkish language and literature education for quality of academic studies that carried out in Turcology departments abroad. In this context, it is expected that this proficiency should be developed adequately in the individuals who will use Turkish as a scientific language. The purpose of this dissertation is to describe the quality of educational activity and writing proficiency which are substantial for Turkic studies departments in Poland. In this study implements the quantitative method has been used. The writing skills of the research were addressed and the level of competence of the students was leveled under the European co-application text. Written expression evaluation form was utilized in the study. Results were tabulated with a statistically independent sample test and single factor analysis of variance (Anova). The survey was carried out in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 academic years in spring semesters. Thirty four students of the third year of Turkic Studies departments in Poland have been chosen with the stratified random sampling method from Jagiellon University, Warsaw University and Adam Mickiewicz University Turkology departments in Poland. At the end of the study, significant differences were found between the writing levels of the study group students. The findings show that students' writing skills are inadequate to use Turkish as a language of science and it is necessary to observe the education programs and periods.
