First of all, communication skills have been transformed by technological developments (printing) that convey speech, writing and experiences to future generations. In the following period, communication skills have shifted to a new dimension with the internet that transforms information into digital codes. Digital communication, interaction and transformation are widespread nowadays. The individual has a digital copy of the data for his / her general and private life. This copy is called the digital self. In this study, the effect of social studies lessons on the development of digital self will be determined according to the perceptions of social studies teachers. Random and criterion sampling techniques were used to determine the study group. Qualitative research method will be used in the study and content and descriptive analysis techniques will be used in the analysis of data. The data obtained in the study will be presented as tables and quotations will be made directly from the opinions.
