Here, Bode's ideal transfer function is used as the reference model and its two adjustable parameters ? and ?c are chosen according to the desired step response. Then, PID control is provided so that the output of the high order time delay model can follow the response of this adjusted reference system. Genetic Algorithm optimization method was used to obtain PID parameters.
