Aksoy I.Armagan N.2024-08-042024-08-041991https://hdl.handle.net/11616/92375Structural investigation by the X-ray diffraction method is discussed. As an example, an interstratified clay from Resadiye-Turkiye was investigated. The natural clay was identified as an interstratified montmorillonite-illite mineral. The chemical formula in the unit cell dimension was derived from chemical analysis and the theoretical intensity profile was adapted, in adjusting the parameters to fit to the experimental one. Finally, structural parameters resulted in the best 001 profile fit. -from Authorseninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesschemical formulaclaymixed layer claystructural analysisX-ray diffractionA study of X-ray profile analysis of mixed layer claysArticle1521881952-s2.0-0026063473N/A
