Sağlıkları sayesinde bireyler günlük yaşamlarını idame ettirebilirler. Bu nedenle sağlık hizmetleri insanlar için çok önemli bir konumdadır. Sağlık hizmetlerinin kullanımına etki eden pek çok faktör vardır. Bu faktörler kişisel özelliklerden çevresel özelliklere kadar pek çok unsurdan etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışma ile de İnönü Üniversitesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi polikliniklerine başvuran hastaların başvurusunu etkileyen faktörler belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma 2024 yılı Ocak-Mayıs ayları arasında İnönü Üniversitesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi polikliniklerine başvuran hastalara yapılmıştır. Çalışmamız kesitsel tipte bir çalışmadır. 404 hastaya ulaşılmıştır. Basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile hastalar seçilmiştir. Veri analizinde Pearson Chi Square (Ki-Kare Testi) kullanılmış olup, p değerleri hesaplanıp p<0,05 anlamlı olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Katılımcıların ekonomik durumunun sağlık kurumu tercihini etkilediği görülmüştür ve çoğunluğun önemli hastalıklarda il dışını tercih ettiği saptanmıştır. İl dışında ilk tercih edilen kurum da Ankara'da tıp fakülteleri olmuştur. Çalışmamızda ''Gittiğiniz kurumu tercih etme nedenleriniz nelerdir'' sorusuna; sırasıyla hekim bilgi beceri yeterliliği, sağlık kuruluşunda ilaç malzeme yeterliliği, mahremiyete dikkat edilmesi gibi konuların çok önemli olduğu saptanmıştır. En az önem verilen konular da kurumda tanıdıkların çalışması, yakınların tavsiyesi, otelcilik hizmetleri ve oda kalitesi olarak saptanmıştır. Sonuç: İnsanların hastaneye başvurusunu etkileyen pek çok faktör bulunmaktadır. Hastane yönetimi hastaların başvuru yaparken en çok nelere önem verdiğini ya da en az neleri önemsediğini bilip ona göre düzenlemeler yapabilirler. Therefore, health services are very important for people. There are many factors affecting the utilization of health services. These factors are influenced by many factors ranging from personal characteristics to environmental characteristics. In this study, it was tried to determine the factors affecting the application of patients applying to the outpatient clinics of Inonu University Turgut Özal Medical Center. Material and Methods: This study was conducted on patients who applied to the outpatient clinics of Inonu University Turgut Özal Medical Center between January and May 2024. Our study is a cross-sectional study. 404 patients were reached. Patients were selected by simple random sampling method. Pearson Chi Square (Chi-Square Test) was used in data analysis, p values were calculated and p<0.05 was accepted as significant. Results: The economic status of the participants was found to affect their choice of health institution and the majority preferred out of province for major diseases. The first preferred institution outside the province was the medical faculties in Ankara. In our study, in response to the question "What are your reasons for preferring the institution you go to?", it was found that issues such as the adequacy of physician knowledge and skills, adequacy of drug supplies in the health institution, and attention to privacy were very important, respectively. The least important issues were found to be the employment of acquaintances in the institution, recommendation of relatives, hotel services and room quality. Conclusion: There are many factors that affect people's hospital admission. Hospital administrations can know what patients care most or least about when applying and can make arrangements accordingly.
