In Turkey, resistance or overcoming resistancerelated resources are limited with group counseling, reveals importance of this work. Under the scope of the research, articles and books that can be accessed as full text was examined by searching for keywords such as “client resistance”, “resistance in counseling”. The specific principles of each counseling approach and the behaviors of client have waited for being have been different from each other, have brought a diversity about what resistant behavior is. In classification that made in order to combine this diversity and present the common forms of resistance to readers, resistant behaviors are categorized six different groups that named speech resistance, confidentiality resistance, participation/responsibility resistance, relational resistance, resistance to solution and resistance to rules.
