The squamous component is represented by cells that contain vesicular or hyperchromatic nuclei and large acidophilic cytoplasm. We could demonstrate immunohistochemically the presence of prostate specific antigen (PSA) and glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) in these tumour cells.
