All molecules were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and IR spectroscopy techniques. In vitro antimicrobial activity of the synthesized compounds investigated in this work was tested against the reference strains: Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Candida albicans (ATCC MYA-2876) and Candida glabrata (ATCC 2001). Anticancer properties of samples were evaluated against A549, HCT116 and BEAS-2B cells lines. All silver-NHC complexes showed antibacterial activity against the tested bacterial and fungal strains.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessCatalystsStructure analysisAnticancer activityAntimicrobial activity6-DimethylbenzimidazoleN -Heterocyclic carbeneSilver complexesNovel N-heterocyclic carbene silver(I) complexes: Synthesis, structural characterization, antimicrobial and cytotoxicity potential studiesArticle57710.1016/j.ica.2024.1224582-s2.0-85210536448Q2WOS:001372025000001Q20000-0003-0110-95880000-0003-2094-97420000-0001-6325-02160000-0003-3201-35970000-0002-5709-16230000-0001-6325-02160000-0001-6509-2012
