Subjects and methods This cross-sectional study was carried out with 300 individuals. The data were collected by using a descriptive information form, the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Attitude Scale and Health Perception Scale. Results It was determined that 20.7% of the participants used alternative treatment; most used herbal products and utilized alternative treatment to protect their health. There was a positive relationship between attitudes towards complementary alternative treatment and health perceptions.
