Bu çalışmada araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulmuş, alan uzmanları tarafından onaylanmış, duygusal zekâyı geliştirmeye yönelik yaratıcı dramaya dayalı müzik etkinliklerinden oluşan 20 oturumluk ayrıntılı etkinlik planı uygulanmıştır. Araştırma yarı deneysel desende planlanmıştır. Çalışma gurubunu Van il merkezinde farklı iki bağımsız anaokuluna devam eden 5-6 yaş grubu çocuklar oluşturmuştur. Okullardan birindeki çocuklar deney, diğerindeki çocuklar kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Deney grubu 18, kontrol grubu 17 çocuktan oluşmaktadır. Deney grubundaki çocuklarla yaratıcı dramaya müzik etkinlikleri yapılırken, kontrol grubundaki çocuklar Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) 2013 Okul Öncesi Eğitim Programı 'na göre günlük eğitim akışına devam etmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Ulutaş (2005) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan "Sullivan Duygusal Zeka Ölçeği" deney ve kontrol gruplarına etkinlik uygulamalarından önce ve sonra araştırmacı tarafından uygulanmıştır. Çalışma 10 hafta sürmüş, haftada iki oturum olmak üzere 20 oturum yapılmış ve her oturumda farklı bir etkinlik planı uygulanmıştır. Her çalışma videoya kaydedilmiştir. Uygulama sonucunda deney ve kontrol gruplarının duygusal zeka ölçeği puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.The aim of this research is to examine the effect of creative drama-based musical activities on the emotional intelligence of preschool children aged 5-6. In this study, detailed activity plans of 20 sessions consisting of creative drama-based music activities for emotional intelligence, created by the researcher and approved by experts in the field, are included. The research was planned in a quasi-experimental design. The study group consisted of children aged 5-6 who attended two different independent kindergartens in the city center of Van. Children in one of the schools formed the experimental group, and children in the other school formed the control group. The experimental group consists of 18 children and the control group consists of 17 children. While musical drama activities were carried out with the children in the experimental group, children in the control group continued their daily education according to the Ministry of National Education (MEB) 2013 Preschool Education Program. As a data collection tool in the study, the "Sullivan Emotional Intelligence Scale" was applied by the researcher to the experimental and control groups before and after the activity applications. The study lasted 10 weeks, 20 sessions were held, two sessions per week, and a different activity plan was applied in each session. Each study was video recorded.
