In the first phase of the method which is the preparation for primary reading-writing; three types of studies are envisaged, namely general preparation, preparation for reading and preparation for writing. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the preparatory works for writing included in the first grade Turkish literacy book of I am Learning Reading and Writing from 9 different publishers. Preparations for writing sections in textbooks are determined by the qualitative research pattern document review method and the results are interpreted. Thus, as a result of this examination, it was attempted to determine whether the preparatory activities for writing were sufficient and suitable for the first grade students to meet their needs and concrete proposals were suggested in this direction.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessLiteracyText booksWriting preparation studiesEvaluation of writing preparation studies in terms of supporting cursive handwritingArticle18211713810.17679/inuefd.286673257271
