Although work-related boredom is common in a wide variety of work settings, empirical researches are relatively limited. Besides, there does not exist any study on work-related boredom in domestic literature. Thus, it can be said that study findings may contribute to the understanding of work-related boredom and shed light on future studies that will be conducted in Turkish context. Study findings have shown that work-related boredom has a negative impact on life satisfaction and a positive impact on intention to turnover.
