In the ¯rst chapter we recalled basic de¯nitions, theorems and examples which are necessary for the rest of the thesis. In the second chapter, we introduced concept of crossed module of groups with de¯nitions, theorems and examples in detail. This concept is based on action and homomorphism between groups. Subcrossed and normal subcrossed modules are main issues in this chapter. In the third chapter we studied crossed modules of algebras which is main issue of this thesis. The concepts related with crossed modules of groups which are introduced in the second chapter are applied to crossed modules of algebras.
