However, the optimal treatment regimen for these patients, in particular with regards to the fate of PD catheter, is still largely unknown. We report a case of brucella peritonitis successfully treated with intraperitoneal administration of amikacin, along with oral rifampicin and doxycycline but without catheter removal.
