There is a possibility of loss of reproductive organs after diagnosis of cancer, and diagnosis can cause some psychosocial reactions due to the special meaning attributed to the reproductive organs of women. The psychosocial aspects of the reactions of women to gynecological cancers may vary based on the developmental process of cancer, developmental stages of life and type of cancer.
