Beden eğitimi ve spor yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin kariyer geleceği algı düzeylerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer geleceği algı düzeylerinin farklı değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın modeli, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel niteliktedir. Araştırma grubunu Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 508 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılanların kariyer geleceği algısını belirlenmesi amacıyla, Rottinghaus, Day ve Borgen (2005) tarafından geliştirilen Kariyer Geleceği Ölçeği (KARGEL) kullanılmıştır. Ölçümlerin, normal dağılıma uygun olup olamadığını belirlemek için tek örneklem Kolmogorov Smirnov Testi uygulanmıştır. Kariyer uyumluluğu alt boyutu normal dağılım gösterdiği için t ve Anova testleri uygulanarak anlamlılık P>.05 alınmış, fakat diğer boyutlarda normal dağılım göstermediği için verilerin çözüm ve yorumlanmasında, Kruskal Wallis-H testi ve Mann Whitney-U testi kullanılarak anlamlılık düzeyi P<.05 alınmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde ve hesaplanmış değerlerin bulunmasında SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences) paket programı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin genel kariyer geleceği boyutu ortalamalası (Ort.=83,58) ve kariyer geleceği alt boyutlarından kariyer iyimserliği puan ortalaması (Ort.=36,65) orta seviyede, kariyer uyumluluğu alt boyut puan ortalaması (Ort.=37,61) yüksek seviyede ve iş piyasasına ilişkin algı bilgisi alt boyut puan ortalaması ise (Ort.=9,31) orta düzeyin üzerinde olduğu söylenebilir. Kişisel özelliklere göre ise üniversite öğrencilerinin kariyer geleceği algı düzeylerinin baba öğrenim durumu, “Boş zamanlarını nasıl değerlendirir siniz?” ve “Boş Zamanlarını Değerlendirmede Güçlük Çekiyor musunuz?” değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunurken, diğer değişkenlerine (Yaş, Cinsiyet, Gelir durumu Anne eğitim, Aktif spor yapma durumu ve Boş zaman yeterlimi?) göre anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır

The aim of this research is to show whether the university students' perception level of career futures differ according to different variables. The model of the research is descriptive of quantitative research methods. The research group consists of 508 students studying at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. The Career Future Scale (KARGEL) developed by Rottinghaus, Day and Borgen (2005) was used to determine career perception of the participants in the survey. A single sample Kolmogorov Smirnov Test was applied to determine whether the measurements were appropriate for normal distribution. Because the career career compatibility showed normal distribution, the Kruskal Wallis-H test and the Mann Whitney-U test was used in the interpretation and interpretation of the data and and the significance level was taken as p <.05, but for not normal distribution, t and Anova tests were used and the significance level was taken as p >.05. SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences) package program was used to evaluate the data and to calculate the values. The average age of the students who participated in the study was the mid-level of general career future dimension and career optimism of career prospective sub dimentions and also, career orientation subscale average was high level and the job market is above the medium level. According to personal characteristics, there is a significant difference between university students’ career future perceptions, father education status, "How do you spend your leisure time" and "Do you have difficulty in your leisure time?", While other variables (Age, Gender, , Active sportswear status, and leisure time?) have no a significant difference.
