Üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin normal öğrencilere yönelik olarak hazırlanan müfredat ile gelişimlerini sağlamayı ya da üstün yeteneğinin oluşmasını beklemek pedagojik açıdan uygun değildir. Bu yüzden normal öğrencilerden bilişsel, duyuşsal, psikomotor, öğrenme hızı gibi birçok özellikleri farklı olan bu bireylerin farklılıklarına uygun olarak müfredatın farklılaştırılması gerekmektedir. Bu araştırmada müfredat farklılaştırma modellerinden biri olan Bütünleştirilmiş Müfredat Modeli'ne (Wood, 2009) göre farklılaştırılmış sosyal bilgiler öğretiminin üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin özdüzenleme becerilerine, problem çözme becerilerine ve akademik başarılarına etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nicel karakterde olup, öntest-sontest deney kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubunda 12 üstün yetenekli öğrenci atanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Bilim Öğrenmede Öz-düzenleme Becerileri Testi (Tortop, 2015), Problem Çözmeye Yönelik Algı Ölçeği Testi (Sarıkaya ve Özgöl, 2015) ve akademik başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Uygulamada 4. sınıf sosyal bilgiler dersindeki "Hep Birlikte, İnsanlar ve Yönetim, Uzaktaki Arkadaşım" üniteleri farklılaştırılarak özgün bir farklılaştırılmış ünite oluşturulmuştur. Bu öğretim programı deney grubuna 6 hafta süreyle 2016-2017 öğretim yılına uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde non-parametrik testlerden olan Mann-Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Uygulama sonunda deney ve kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin öz-düzenleme ve problem çözme beceri puanları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık görülürken (p<.05), akademik başarılarında anlamlı bir farklılık görülmemiştir (p>.05). Bütünleştirilmiş Müfredat Modeline göre farklılaştırışmış öğretim programının üstün yetenekli öğrencileri özdüzenleme ve problem çözme becerilerinde artışa neden olduğu görülmüştür. It is not suitable to expect pedagocially the construction of intellectual giftedness or to anticipate for he maintenance of the development with the curriculum prepared for intellectually gifted ones. Therefore, it is necessary to differentiate the curriculum about these students who are distinct from the others in terms of cognitive, auditorial, psychomotor, and learning. In this study, the aim is to find out the influence of differentiated Social Studies Lesson in respect to Integrated Curriculm Model (Wood, 2009), which is one of the Differentiating Curriculum Model, on the self-regulation, the ability of problem solution and academic achievement. In this research, group controlled experimental designed pre and last tests that have quantitative characteristics are used. 12 intellectually gifted students are appointed in the experiment and the control group. As a means of data collection, Self-Regulation Ability Test (Tortop 2019), Problem Solution Oriented Perception Scale Test (Sarıkaya and Özgül, 2015), and Achievement Test are used in this study. In the application, by differentiating the units related to "Collective Life, Direction and My Friends Far Away" a new original "Direction" unit curriculum has been formed in the 4. Class Social Studies Lesson. This training curriculum is used for 6 weeks to the experimental group in the 2016-2017 education year. In the analysis of the maintained data, Mann-Whitney U test, one of the non-parametric tests, is used. At the end of the application, whereas there is a meaningful differentiation on the benefit of the experiment group between the ability of the problem solution and self-regulation of the experiment and the controlling group students (p<.05), there isn't any meaningful distinction in their academic achievement (p>.05). According to the Integrated Curriculum Model, the intellectually gifted students of the differentiated training curriculum are the reason for an increase in the self-regulation and problem solution abilities.
