İmam-hatip ortaokulu meslek dersleri öğretmenleri, beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenleri ile öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine ilişkin görüşleri

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı imam hatip ortaokulu meslek dersleri öğretmenleri, BES öğretmenleri ile öğrencilerin BES dersine ilişkin görüşlerini incelemektir. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmanın örneklemini, Kahramanmaraş İli' nde İHO' larda görev yapan ve İHO' larda en az beş yıllık deneyime sahip meslek dersi öğretmenleri, BES öğretmenleri ve bu okullarda okuyan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma deseni içerisinde yer alan "Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme" yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: İHO' larda BES dersine gereken önemin verilmediği, BES ders saatinin yetersiz olup öğrenci ihtiyaçlarını karşılamadığı, öğretmenler ve öğrencilerin haftada bir saatlik BES dersini diğer normal ortaokullarla karşılaştırıldığında adil bulmadıkları anlaşılmıştır. Bu durumu öğretmenler İslam Dini'nin sporu teşvik etmesine rağmen meslek derslerinin fazla olmasını ve mevcut programın MEB tarafından iyi hazırlanmamasını sebep olarak göstermişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin görüşleri ve bu görüşlerine göre velilerin, kadın ve erkek öğrencilerin BES dersini ayrı ortamlarda okutulmasının doğru olacağı ifade edilmiştir. Öğretmenlere göre veliler ve öğrencilere göre de diğer branş öğretmenleri BES dersini yeterince önemsememekte ve akademik başarıyı olumsuz etkilediğini düşünmektedirler. Öğretmenlere göre kadın ve erkek öğrenciler birlikte il dışına gidebilmelidir. Öğretmenler, çocuklarının okul takımı ile il dışına göndermek istemeyen velilerin ikna edilmesini istemişlerdir. Öğrencilere göre veliler BES dersini önemsemektedir. Öğrenciler BES dersini yeterince işleyemedikleri için, spor ihtiyaçlarını okul dışı faaliyetlerde karşıladıklarını bildirmişlerdir. Öğrenciler BES dersinin haftada en az iki saate çıkarılmasını, spor branşlarının zenginleştirilmesini ve okul sporlarına katılmak istediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Öğrenciler BES öğretmenin ders okutma yönteminden memnun olduklarını, BES dersini diğer derslere göre daha anlamlı görerek en çok sevdikleri üç ders arasında göstermişlerdir. Sonuç: BES eğitimin ayrılmaz ve tamamlayıcı parçası olup öğrencinin bütünsel gelişimi için gerekli bir derstir. İHO' larda BES dersine gereken önem verilmediği, kişi ve yetkililerin olumsuz tutum içerisinde oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. İslam dinin BES dersine olumsuz bir bakışı olmadığı gibi BES' i teşvik etmiştir. İHO' lardaki BES ders saati yetersizdir ve öğrenci ihtiyaçlarını karşılamamaktadır. Katılımcıların görüşlerine göre bazı branş öğretmenleri ve veliler, BES 'in akademik başarıyı olumsuz etkilediğini belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin görüşleri ve bu görüşlerine göre velilerin, kadın ve erkek öğrencilerin BES derslerini ayrı ortamlarda okutulması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre veliler kadın ve erkek öğrencilerin birlikte il dışına gitmelerini uygun bulmayacaklarını belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcılar BES dersinin öğrencilerin beklenti ve ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda yetkililer tarafından haftalık ders programında iki saate çıkarılması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. ABSTRACT Teachers of Imam Hatip Secondary School, Physical Education and Sports Teachers and Students' Opinions about Physical Education and Sports Course Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of the imam hatip secondary school teachers, physical education and sports (PES) teachers and students about physical education and sports. Materyal and Method: The sample of the study consists of vocational education teachers, PES teachers and students studying in these schools, who work in imam hatip secondary schools in Kahramanmaraş Province and have at least five years of experience in imam hatip secondary schools. In the study, "Semi-Structured Interview" method, which is included in the qualitative research design, was used. Findings: It is understood that in Imam hatip secondary schools, PES lessons are not given due importance, PES lessons are insufficient and do not meet student needs, and teachers and students do not find one-hour PES lessons in comparison with other normal secondary schools. Teachers cited this situation as the reason for the fact that Islamic religion encourages sports and that the vocational courses are high and the current program is not prepared well by the Ministry of National Education.According to the opinions of the teachers and these views, it was stated that it would be correct to teach the parents, male and female students PES lessons in different settings. According to teachers, parents and students, other branch teachers do not care enough about PES and think that it affects academic success negatively. According to the teachers, female and male students should be able to go out of the city together. The teachers stated that parents who do not want to send their children out of the city with the school team should be persuaded. According to students, parents care about physical education and sports lessons. The students reported that they met their sports needs in out-of-school activities because they could not adequately handle PES lessons. The students stated that they wanted to increase the BES course to at least two hours a week, enrich sports branches and participate in school sports. The students showed that they are satisfied with the lesson method of PES education, seeing PES more meaningful than other lessons, and showed them among the three lessons they love the most. Conclusion: It is an integral and complementary part of PES education and is a necessary course for the student's holistic development. It was concluded that in Imam hatip secondary schools, PES were not given due attention, and that individuals and authorities had negative attitudes. Islam did not have a negative view on PES lesson, but also promoted PES. PES hours in Imam hatip secondary schools are insufficient and do not meet student needs.According to the opinions of the participants, some branch teachers and parents stated that PES affect academic success negatively. According to the opinions of teachers and these opinions, parents stated that PES lessons of female and male students should be taught in separate settings. According to the teachers' opinions, parents stated that they would not find it appropriate for male and female students to go out of the city together. The participants stated that PES lessons should be increased to two hours in the weekly course schedule by the authorities in line with the expectations and needs of the students.
