Türk sporunda devşirme sporcular

Abstract

Amaç: Dünya genelinde yapılan çoğu uluslararası organizasyon sonrası devşirme sporcu konusu gündem başlığı olmuştur. Araştırmanın amacı; sayıları son zamanlarda oldukça artan devşirme sporcuların, Türk sporu açısından yararlarını ve zararlarını değerlendirmek, uluslararası organizasyonlardaki başarı ve başarısızlık durumlarını saptamak, sporcu devşirilmesinin nedenlerini araştırmaktır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma modeli olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni benimsenmiştir. Çalışmada verilere ulaşmak için akademik makaleler, yapılmış tezler, resmi belgeler, resmi kurumların internet sayfaları, spor federasyonlarının yayınları, ulusal basın ve alan ile ilgili kitaplar incelenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmada nitel analiz tekniklerinden betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Ülkemizdeki devşirme sporcular incelendiğinde çoğu branşta sporcu devşirdiğimiz, devşirme sporcu sayılarının en fazla atletizm branşında olduğu, devşirme sporcuların ülkemizi tercih etme nedenleri arasında maddiyatın ön planda olduğu, devşirme sporcuların bazı yarışmalarda ülkemize kazandırdıkları madalyalar ile ülke tanıtımı ve başarısına katkısı sağladığı ve genç sporcularımıza model oldukları bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç: Devşirme sporcuların başarı ve reklam konularında zaman zaman ülkemize fayda sağladığı ve kısa vadede olumlu katkılarının olduğu, ancak uzun vadede genç sporcularımızın önünü kapatmasından dolayı Türk sporu açısından olumsuz bir durum olduğu, çoğu devşirme sporcunun başarısız olması nedeni ile spor camiaları tarafından çokta benimsenmeyen bir durum olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Aim: The topic of recruiting athletes has been the topic of the agenda after most international organizations held worldwide. The aim of the research is to evaluate the pros and cons of recruiting athletes, whose numbers have increased recently, in terms of Turkish sports, to determine the success and failure in international organizations, to investigate the causes of sportsman recruitment. Material and Method: Case study pattern, one of the qualitative research methods, was used as the research model. In the study; articles, theses, official documents, official institutions' sites, sports federations' journals, national press and the books related to this topic were examined to collect data. In the study, descriptive analysis and content analysis, one of the qualitative analysis techniques were applied. Results: When the recruiting athletes in our country were examined, it was found that we gathered athletes in most branches and we recruited athletes mostly in the field of athletics. Likewise it was found that materiality is at the forefront of recrıiting athletes preferring our country and recruited athletes contributed the advertisement and success of our country, they were seen a role model by young athletes due to the medals which they gathered in the international organizations Conclusion: It was determined that recruiting athletes occasionally benefited our country on issues such as success and advertisement, and had positive contributions in the short term; nevertheless it is concluded that there are negative effects in Turkish sports in the long term due to our young athletes preventing by the athletes who are recruited and this situation is not acceptable for the sports community.
