KADIN ÇALIŞANLARIN TOPLUMSAL CİNSİYET ALGILARI VE İŞE ADANMIŞLIKLARI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Abstract

Öz:Toplumsal cinsiyet algısı bireylerin toplumdaki görev, sorumluluk ve kendilerinden olan beklentileri belirleyen cinsiyet normlarına dayanır. Toplumsal cinsiyet algısı kadınların yaşamın farklı alanlarındaki sorumluluklarını yerine getirmede kullandıkları referans olarak tanımlanmaktadır. İş yaşamı toplumsal cinsiyet algısının etkin olarak hissedildiği bir alan olarak kadınların yaşamında bir yer kapsamaktadır. Çalışanların adanmışlıklarının işletmenin performansını etkilediği göz önüne alındığında işgücünün büyük bir kısmını oluşturan kadın çalışanların adanmışlıklarının toplumsal cinsiyet algısı tarafından etkilenebileceği düşünülmüştür. Yayılım kuramı (Spillover Theory) çerçevesinde kurulan modelin araştırılması için Sinop il ve ilçelerinde kamu ve özel sektörde ücretli çalışan kadınlardan oluşan örneklem kullanılmıştır. Örneklemden toplanan veriler bir istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Regresyon sonuçlarına göre toplumsal cinsiyet algısının adanmışlığı etkilediği görülmüştür.
