Abstract:This study was conducted to determine the degree to which hearing impaired wrestlers sport at the national team level contributed to their self-esteem and body image perceptions, and if so, to what extent. 40 hearing-impaired senior male wrestlers from the hearing impaired wrestling sports team preparatory camp and 50 non- wrestler, hearing impaired people participated in the study, in April 2016. Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale and Body Image Perception Scale were used to collect the data. Independent t-test and inter-parameter correlation Pearson Correlation analysis were performed for the differences between the groups. As a result of this study, it was seen that the hearing impaired wrestler have higher selfesteem and body image perception levels than non- wrestler hearing impaired.
