Öğretmen ve öğrencilerin bitişik eğik yazı ile ilgili görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı ilk kez birinci sınıfa bitişik eğik yazıyla başlayan dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri ile okulda görev yapan sınıf ve branş öğretmenlerinin yazı biçimleri ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemektir. Tarama modelinde nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma 2008-2009 eğitim- öğretim yılı birinci döneminde Denizli ili ilköğretim okullarından birinde uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada amaçlı örnekleme çeşitlerinden biri olan kolay ulaşılabilir durum örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. İlköğretim okulu branş (n=9) ve sınıf öğretmenleri (n=10) ile dördüncü sınıf öğrencileri (n=41) araştırmanın örneklemidir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma veri toplama yöntemlerinden, görüşme kullanılmıştır. Öğretmen ve öğrenciler genel olarak yazı yazmayı bir zorunluluk olarak görmektedir. Öğrenciler bitişik eğik ve dik temel yazıyı farklı şekillerde adlandırmaktadır. Öğretmenler birinci sınıfta dik temel yazı ile başlanması gerektiğini savunmaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to identify the opinions of the fourth-grade students who started the first-grade with cursive handwriting and their primary school teachers and branch teachers about handwriting. This is a qualitative study. The research was done in one of the primary schools in Denizli during the first semester of 2008-2009 education year. In this study convenience sampling method which was one of the purposive sampling methods was used. The sample was branch teachers (n=9) and primary school teachers (n=10) and fourth grade students (n=41). In the research, interview, one of the qualitative research data collection technique was used. Students commonly think that writing is an obligation. Both teachers and students name cursive and manuscript handwriting in different ways. Teachers support the idea of starting the first grade with manuscript handwriting.
