Kemoterapi alan kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını algılamaları ve hemşirelik bakım memnuniyeti

Abstract

Amaç: Araştırma kemoterapi alan kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını algılamaları ve hemşirelik bakım memnuniyeti arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Materyal ve metot: Araştırma tanımlayıcı olarak 10 Mart- 10 Eylül 2020 tarihleri arasında yürütüldü. Araştırmanın evrenini, Malatya İnönü Üniversitesi Turgut Özal Tıp Merkezi'nde tedavi gören yaklaşık 550 yetişkin hasta oluşturdu. Aynı hastanede tedavi gören araştırmaya alınma kriterlerine uyan, yapılan güç analizinde 0.95 güç düzeyi ve 0.05 önemlilik düzeyinde gerekli örneklem büyüklüğü 130 kişi olarak belirlendi. Verilerin toplanmasında, Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu, Hemşirenin Varlığı Ölçeği (HVÖ) ile Kemoterapi Hastalarında Hemşirelik Bakımı Memnuniyet Ölçeği (KHHBMÖ) kullanıldı. İstatistiksel değerlendirmede, sayı, yüzde, ortalama, bağımsız gruplarda t testi, regresyon analizi, Anova ve Korelasyon analizi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Araştırmaya dahil edilenlerin çoğunun 56-70 yaş arasında, erkek, evli, lise mezunu, geliri gidere eşit, 1-5 ay arası tanı alan, metastazı olmayan, 12-17 arası kemoterapi kürü alan, 0-1 yıl arası tedavi gören, gastrointestinal sistem kanseri tanısı alan, 1-5 gün arası hastanede kalan hastalar olduğu saptandı. Bireylerin HVÖ puan ortalaması 99.72 ± 17.81, KHHBMÖ puan ortalaması 109.19 ±18.78 olduğu bulundu. HVÖ ile KHHBMÖ toplam puan ortalamaları arasında pozitif yönde önemli bir ilişki saptandı (p<0.05). Sonuç: Kemoterapi alan kanser hastalarının hemşirenin varlığını algılama düzeyleri ile hemşirelik bakımından memnuniyet düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu, hastaların hemşirenin varlığını algılama düzeyleri arttıkça hemşirelik bakımından memnuniyet düzeylerinin de arttığı belirlendi. Aim: The research was conducted to determine the relationship between the perception of the presence of nurses and nursing care satisfaction in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Material and method: The research was conducted descriptively between 10 March and 10 September 2020. The population of the study consisted of approximately 550 adult patients treated at Malatya İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center. In the power analysis performed, the required sample size was determined as 130 people, who were treated at the same hospital and met the inclusion criteria, at a power level of 0.95 and a significance level of 0.05. The Descriptive Characteristics Form, the Nursing Presence Scale (NPS), and the Nursing Care Satisfaction Scale for Chemotherapy Patients (NCSSCP) were used to collect the data. For statistical evaluation, number, percentage, mean, independent groups t test, regression analysis, Anova and correlation analysis were used. Results: Most of the subjects included in the study were between 56-70 years old, male, married, high school graduate, income equal to expenditure, diagnosed between 1-5 months, no metastasis, 12-17 chemotherapy courses, 0-1 years of treatment, It was determined that there were patients who were diagnosed with gastrointestinal system cancer and stayed in the hospital for 1-5 days. It was found that the individuals' mean NPS score was 99.72 ± 17.81, and the mean NCSSCP score was 109.19 ± 18.78. A positive and significant correlation was found between the total mean scores of NPS and NCSSCP (p<0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that there is a positive relationship between the level of perception of the nurse's presence and the satisfaction level of nursing care of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, and as the level of perception of the presence of the nurse increases, the level of satisfaction with nursing care also increases.
