Abstract:
A patient with gastric carcinoma who developed lethal tachycardia with wide-QRS complex after treatment with 5-fluorouracil and calcium folinate is presented. Previous reports illustrating the lethal tachycardia that may be associated with the use of 5-fluorouracil are discussed.
