İnsan özgürlüğü bağlamında kudretin devamlılığı sorunu

Abstract

Bu çalışma kudret konusunda klasik kelamcıların görüşlerini, seçme hürriyeti bağlamında incelemektedir. Bu çerçevede kudretin tanımı, mahiyeti, insan bedeninde sürekli bir şekilde bulunup bulunmadığı konuları araştırılacaktır. Bugün dahi güncelliğini koruyan insanın özgürlüğü meselesi, tarih boyunca tartışılan en önemli konulardan biridir. Tartışmanın dayandığı kavramlardan biri de kudrettir. Eğer insan, eylemlerini tercih edecek iradeye sahip olsa fakat bunu yapmaya gücü olmasa, onun gerçek anlamda özgür olduğu söylenemez. Bu sebeple İslam kelamcıları kudretin insan bedeninde fiilden önce ve sonra bulunup bulunmadığını incelemişlerdir. Mu’tezile bu gücün insan bedeninde canlı olduğu sürece devamlı olduğunu savunmuştur. Eş’ariler insanın Allah’a rakip olacağı endişesini güderek kudretin sürekli yeniden yaratıldığını söylemişlerdir. Mâturîdîler ise bir nevi bu iki görüşü telif etmişlerdir. Bu konudaki temel endişenin Allah’ın mutlak otorite ve kudretine bir helal gelmemesi ve insanın özgür ama sorumlu bir varlık olmasını muhafaza etmek olduğu görülmektedir. Görünen en temel gerçeklik, kelam ekolleri büyük oranda insanın özgür olduğunu, bir irade ve güce sahip olduğunu benimsemişlerdir. Anahtar Kelimeler: İnsan, Kudret, Fiil, İrade, Özgürlük.

This study examines the opinions of the classical mutakallimuns on might in terms of freedom of choice. The definition and nature of might, and whether it constantly exists within the human body will be searched within this scope. Freedom of the human being, an up-to-date issue even today, is one of the matters that has been debated through the history. Might is one of the matters on which the argument is based. If the human has the will to choose his actions, however, hasn't the power to do them, he can't be said to be really free. Thus, Islamic theologians have searched whether the might exists within the human body before or after the action. Mutazila argues that power is continuous within the human body as long as he is alive. Fearing that the human would be a rival to Allah, Ash'arites state that might is always created again and again. Mâturîdîans somewhat compiles these two views. The basic worry in this issue is not to spoil the very authority and might of Allah, and to preserve the human in as a free but responsible person. The fundamental truth seems to be that kalam schools have adopted the idea that the human is to a large extent free, and has a will and power. Keywords: Human, Might, Action, Will,, Freedom
