8. Sınıf Fen Ve Teknoloji Programı “Hücre Bölünmesi Ve Kalıtım” Ünitesinin Kazanımlarına Ulaşma Düzeyinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Öz:Bu çalışmada, 8. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji programı "hücre bölünmesi ve kalıtım" ünitesinin kazanımlarına ulaşma düzeyini değerlendirmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, betimsel nitelikli tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2014-2015 eğitim öğretim yılında Elazığ il merkezinde amaçlı örnekleme yoluyla seçilen 2 farklı okuldaki 80 sekizinci sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından çoktan seçmeli başarı testi hazırlanmıştır. Pilot uygulama sonucunda yapılan madde analizlerinde testin ortalama ayırt ediciliğinin rort= 0.43 olduğu görülmüştür. 30 maddeden oluşan bu testin güvenirlik katsayısı (KR-20) 0.81 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, ilgili ünitenin beş alt konusuna ilişkin kazanımlara ulaşma düzeyini gösteren mutlak başarı yüzdeleri hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda "hücre bölünmesi ve kalıtım" ünitesinin kazanımlarına ulaşma düzeyi her bir alt problem için şu şekildedir. "Mitoz bölünme" ile ilgili olarak %80.31, "Kalıtım" ile ilgili olarak %62.8, "Mayoz bölünme" ile ilgili olarak %62.1, "DNA ve Genetik" ile ilgili olarak %67.4, "Canlıların çevreye adaptasyonu ve evrim" ile ilgili olarak %52.2. Ayrıca ünitenin içerdiği 30 hedef davranıştan 14'ünün öğrenciler tarafından kazanıldığı görülmüştür Başlık (İngilizce):Evaluating the Attainable Level of Achievement of “Cellular Division and Inheritance” from the Unit in Grade 8 Science and Technology Curriculum Öz (İngilizce):In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the attainable level of achievement of “cellular division and inheritance” from the unit in grade 8 science and technology curriculum. The research was conducted in a descriptive survey model. The study group of the research consisted of 80 8. grade students in 2 different schools, selected by purposeful sampling in Elazığ city centre in the academic year of 2014-2015. As a data collection tool, a multiple-choice success test was prepared by the researchers. In the substance analyses made as a result of the pilot application, the mean differentiation of the test was found to be ravg= 0.43. The reliability coefficient (KR-20) of this test, consisting of 30 items, was calculated as 0.81. In the analysis of the data, absolute success percentages were calculated which showed the level of achievements reached on the five subtopics of the concerned unit. According to the results obtained, the attainable level of achievement of “cellular division and inheritance” unit is as follows for each sub-problem: With respect to "mitotic division, 80.31%"; "62.8% for inheritance", "62.1% for meiotic division", "67.4% for DNA and Genetics" and "52.2% for adaptation of living beings to environment and evolution". It was also seen that 14 of the 30 target behaviours included in the unit were acquired by the students
