AB Ülkelerinde Yükseköğretime Geçiş Sürecinde Uygulanan Kriterler

Abstract

Öz:Türkiye, Avrupa ülkelerinde olduğu gibi yükseköğretim talebi baskısıyla karşı karşıyadır. Çeşitli toplumsal faktörlerden kaynaklanan yüksek talep Türkiye’de önemli bir sorun olmaya devam etmektedir. Bugün tüm ülkelerde yükseköğretim sistemi, bir yandan sürekli artan yükseköğrenim talebini karşılamak, öte yandan da uzmanlık düzeyinde daha nitelikli eğitim verebilmek için yoğun bir çaba içerisindedir. AB uyum sürecinde her toplumsal sistemlerde yapılan değişiklikler ve uyum çalışmaları kuşkusuz eğitim kurumlarında da kendini göstermektedir. Bu bildiride Avrupa Birliği üyesi Almanya, Danimarka, Fransa, Portekiz, Yunanistan, Belçika, Hollanda, İspanya, İtalya ve İsveç örneklem alınarak bu ülkelerdeki ortaöğretimin işlevi ve yükseköğretime geçişte uygulanan ölçütler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Başlık (İngilizce):The Criterias That are Practised in European Union Countries During Transition to Higher Education Öz (İngilizce):Turkey is confronted with the pressure of the demand to higher education as EU countries are. This high demand caused by various social factors has been a critical problem in Turkey. Nowadays, the higher education system is in an intensive effort in order to, on one hand, meet the increasing demand to higher education, on the other hand, give more qualified education at specialization level. In the process of EU conformity, certainly, the changes carried out in every social systems and conformity studies appear in education institutions as well. In this study, the function of secondary education and the scales used for entering to higher education are discussed within the ten member counties of European Union- Germany, Denmark, France, Portugal, Greece, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.
