ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) üriner sistem taş hastalığının tedavisini tümüyle değiştirmiştir Elde edilen deneyim bu teknolojinin güvenli ve etkili olduğunu ancak taş hastalığı tedavisinde sınırları olduğunu göstermektedir.

ESWL has completely changed the management of urinary stone disease. Experience has shown that this technology is safe,effective but also has limitations in the management of urinary calculi.
