Öz:Gelişen teknoloji ile birlikte internet ve sanal ortamın insanların hayatındaki önemi gitgide artmaktadır. Ergenlik döneminde uygun olmayan internet kullanımı ve bilgisayar oyunlarının bir süre sonra bağımlılık riskine dönüşebildiği için oyun bağımlılığının ele alınması gereken bir konu olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmada ergenlerin dijital oyun bağımlılıklarını yordayan psikolojik ihtiyaçları incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 322 ergen oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Dijital Oyun Bağımlılığı Ölçeği ve Psikolojik İhtiyaçlar Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde çoklu regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre cinsiyet ve psikolojik ihtiyaçların dijital oyun bağımlılığını [R2=.11, p<.05] anlamlı olarak yordadığı görülmektedir. Araştırma sonuçları literatür kapsamında tartışılmıştır.
Abstract:The importance of the internet and virtual platform in human life gradually has been increasing with the help of improving technology. It has been thought that this subject should be dealt with; because inappropriate use of the internet and computer games can turn into the risk of addiction. The psychological needs of teenagers which predict the addiction of digital games has been studied in this research. 322 teenagers comprise the research sample. “Personal Information Form”, “The Scale of Digital Game Addiction”, “The Scale of Psychological Needs” have been used for gathering data. The multiple regression analysis has been performed to analyze the data. According to the result of the research, it has been seen that gender and psychological needs [R2=.11, p<.05] predict significantly the addiction of digital game. The results of the research have been discussed in the scope of literature.
