Öz:Hirayama Hastalığı, genç erkeklerde daha sık görülen benign bir alt motor nöron hastalığıdır. Son derece enderdir. Distal üst ekstremitelerde güçsüzlük ve kas erimesiyle karakterizedir. Bu makalede ellerinde ve ön kolunda güçsüzlük ve kaslarında erime yakınması olan 16 yaşında kız hasta sunulmuştur.
Abstract:Hirayama Disease is a benign disease of the lower motor neurons which is encountered mostly in young adults. This disease is extremely rare and characterized by the wasting and weakness of the distal upper extremities. In this paper, we present a 16 year- old female patient with the complaint of weakness and muscle wasting of the hands and forearms.
