Çanakkale Kenti (Kordonboyu) kıyı dolgu alanı kentsel tasarım projesinin irdelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Çanakkale İskele Meydanı ve Çevresi 2. Etap projelendirme çalışmaları çerçevesinde tasarlanan ve mevcut kıyı alanı ile birlikte ilave dolgu alanını da kapsayan “Çanakkale Kordonboyu Çevre Düzenlemesi ve Kentsel Tasarım Projesi” rekreasyonel açıdan beklentilere cevap verebilecek düzeye getirilmesi amacıyla ele alınmıştır. Proje, genel anlamda halkın bazı istek ve beklentilerine karşılık gelebilecek bir düzeydedir. Peyzaj mimarlığı açısından ise projede hem bitkisel hem de yapısal peyzaj detayları yönünden birtakım eksiklikler olduğu dikkat çekmektedir. Bunun yanı sıra projenin başlangıç aşamasında asıl kullanıcı olan halkın görüşlerinin alınmaması tasarımdaki bir diğer eksikliktir. Çalışmada halkın proje hakkındaki görüş ve önerilerinin belirlenmesine yönelik olarak bir anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket sonuçlarına da dayanılarak genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda; proje ile uygulamalar karşılaştırılarak proje geneline ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

This study, “The Canakkale City (Kordon Boyu) Environmental Planning and Urban Design Project” which is designed through the framework of the second stage projecting of the Canakkale Pier Square and Its Surroundings including the present coastal area and also the additional coastal filling areas was taken into consideration in order to bring it to a level for addressing the recreational expectations. Generally, it is in the level of the answering some demands and expectations of the people. However, in terms of landscape architecture, it has some deficiencies which are both the botanical and the structural landscape detail deficiencies. Moreover, the view of people was not asked at the beginning phase of projects is also another defect in the planning. Therefore a questionnaire was done to determine the opinions and the suggestions of the people about this project. A general evaluation was made according to the results of the questioner. As a result, this project and its present practicing were compared and some suggestions were proposed related to the whole of the project.
