Açık işletme maden ocaklarındaki bitkisel iyileştirme çalışmalarının peyzaj mimarlığı öğrencilerine göre değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Dünyada madencilik sektörü ekonomik açıdan önemli ölçüde devlet bütçesine katkı sağlamakta fakat plansızca ve kontrolsüzce yapılan madencilik faaliyetleri doğanın ekolojik ve görsel değerlerinin tahribinin artmasına neden olmaktadır. Özellikle açık işletme madencilik faaliyetleri doğal dengeyi ve arazi yapısını bozucu, çevreyi değiştirici ve canlı yaşamını olumsuz etkileyici bir özelliğe sahiptir. Yapılan bu faaliyetler sonrası bozulan alanların iyileştirilmesinde ana hedef, geri kazanımda ekolojik değeri ve peyzaj onarımını en üst seviyede tutmaya çalışmaktır. Bu alanların geri kazanımları, onarımları ya da farklı amaçlar için kullanımları, doğal ve sürdürülebilir bir çevrenin yeniden oluşmasına olanak sağlayacaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Türkiye'de ve Dünya'da çevre onarımı uygulanmış olan açık işletme maden ocaklarından görsel örnekler alınarak görsel değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Değerlendirme peyzaj öğrencilerine 4 farklı sınıf seviyesinde uygulanmış ve aldıkları mesleki eğitim deneyimine bağlı olarak görsel değerlendirme açısından maden ocaklarındaki farklılıkları algılayıp algılamadıkları araştırılmıştır. Analizler sonucu sınıflara göre peyzaj öğrencileri arasında’ maden ocaklarının rehabilitesinde peyzaj onarımın açısından farklılıklar gözlenmiştir. Analizler sonucunda, mesleki anlamda alınan derslerin ve yıllara bağlı olarak, kararlar konusunda konuya daha hakim olunduğu sonucu çıkmıştır.

The mining industry has the sufficient contribution for the government budget in the world. On the other hand, the unplanned and uncontrolled mining activities have caused to increase the destruction of the ecological and visual landscape values. Especially, the open pit mine producing activities have caused of destroyed the natural balance and the landscape topography. In addition, these kind of producing activities have negative effects on the environmental changes and on the ecosystem relationships. After these activities finished, the main planning aims should be to provide recovery, restoration of these areas or used them for different purposes and contribute to reinstate the natural and sustainable environment of the open pit mines. To reach to the aims, firstly, the valuable sample of the open pit mines in Turkey and in the world, in which the landscape restoration applied, were evaluated in the visual examples of the visual assessment. Then this assessment study was applied to the four different level classes among the undergraduate students in the landscape architecture department and could not detect any differences detected in mines for the visual evaluation. The results of the analysis indicated that the differences among the students about the rehabilitation of the mining areas in the terms of the landscape restoration. These results demonstrate that the different professional classes of the undergraduate landscape architecture affect the student judgements positively, and provide to dominate to the specific landscape topic depending on the different years of education.
