Konut için bir mutfak tasarlarken en ince ayrıntısına kadar
düşünülmeli ve konuyla ilgili mesleki anlamda tam donanımlı birinden
profesyonelce yardım alınmalıdır. Öncelikle eski evlerde mutfak yenilenirken
su, elektrik, doğalgaz ve havalandırma tesisatı tamamen yenilenmelidir.
Daha sonra mutfağın cephesi, zemin döşemesi tavan modeli ve mutfağın
büyüklüğüne göre kullanıcının özel isteklerini de göz önüne alarak
tasarlanmalıdır. Gerçekten de bir evin mutfağını yenilerken su, elektrik ve
doğalgaz tesisatını ve hatta mutfak pencerelerini yenilemek gereklidir.
Mutfağınızı yenilediniz ancak su tesisatınız eski, bu durumda yenilenen
zemin döşemesi ya da mutfak dolaplarının arkasındaki eski su tesisatında
oluşabilecek bir sızıntı yeni dolaplarınız ve parkelerinizin deforme olmasına
yol açacaktır. Bu nedenle elektrik, su, doğalgaz ve hatta havalandırma
tesisatının yenilenmesi zorunludur. Su tesisatındaki eski borular değiştirilmeli
ve gerekli yerlere musluk, batarya, pis su giderleri konulmalıdır. Elektrik
tesisatındaki kablolar sigortalar değiştirilmeli ve gerekli yerlere (tezgâh altı,
tezgâh üstü, dolap içi aydınlatma vb.) topraklı prizler konulmalıdır. Doğalgaz
ve kombi tesisatı da benzer şekilde yenilenmeli mutfakta nereye radyatör
konacağına bu aşamada karar verilmelidir. Evye altında olası bir su taşma
ihtimaline karşı kesinlikle priz konulmamalıdır. Bu çalışmada evimiz için
önemli bir mekân olan mutfak bölümünün nasıl tasarlanması ve yapım
esnasında nelere dikkat edilmesi gerektiği üzerinde durulmuştur.

When designing a kitchen for a home, the design should be considered in its
smallest detail and professional help from an occupationally fully-equipped person should be
consulted. Firstly, when renovating kitchens in old houses, plumbing, electrical wiring,
natural gas and ventilation installations should completely be renewed. Afterwards, the
design should be created considering the special wishes of the user in accordance with the
facade, floor covering, ceiling design and the size of the kitchen. In fact, while renovating a
house’s kitchen, it is necessary to renew plumbing, electrical wiring and natural gas
installation and even kitchen windows. You renovate your kitchen, but your plumbing is old;
in this case, a leak which might take place in the renewed floor covering or in the old
plumbing behind kitchen cupboard will cause your new cupboards and floor covering to get
damaged. Therefore, it is necessary for plumbing, electrical wiring, natural gas and even
ventilation installations to be renewed. The old water pipes in the plumbing need to be
replaced with new ones and taps, faucets and sewage drains should be installed in the
necessary places. The wires and fuses in the electrical wiring should be replaced with new
ones and grounding plugs should be installed in the necessary places (below counter, over
the counter, cupboard insert lighting, etc.). Natural gas and combo boiler installations should
be renewed in the same manner and it should be decided where to install the radiator in the
kitchen. To prevent a possible overflow under the sink, plugs should never be installed there.
In this study, it is underlined how to design the kitchen area which is an important area for
our homes and what to consider during the renewal process. Suggestions have been
provided for the users as well for a good kitchen.
