Amaç: Taekwondoda vestibüler sistem egzersizlerinin denge ve reaksiyon zamanı üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırmaya Nusaybin Gençlik Spor Kulübünde lisanslı olup yıldızlar ve gençler kategorisinde müsabık 20 erkek ve 20 kadın taekwondocu katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan sporcular 20 kişilik iki gruba ayrılmış (10 kadın 10 erkek) bir grup kontrol bir grup ise deney grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan tüm sporcuların yaş, boy uzunluğu, vücut ağırlığı, BKI indeksleri hesaplanmış, flamingo denge, tandem duruş, fonksiyonel uzanma, tandem yürüyüş, VAS skorlaması, sağ ve sol ayak tolyochagi, vurgu tolyochagi, panda tolyochagi testleri uygulanmıştır. İlk ölçümlerden sonra deney grubuna 12 hafta boyunca ve haftalık yapmış oldukları antrenman sonrasında 20 dakika vestibüler sistem egzersiz eğitimi programı uygulanmıştır. Bu süreçte kontrol grubu sadece normal taekwondo antrenmanlarına devam etmişlerdir. Bulgular: Araştırma bulgularına göre, denge parametreleri ve taekwondo parametrelerinde 12 haftanın sonucunda kontrol grubunda anlamlı farklılıklar görülmezken (p>0.05), deney grubunda ise anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Ayrıca tandem duruş testinde her iki grupta da anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmemiştir (p>0.05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak, taekwondo sporunda sporculara uygulanan vestibuler sistem egzersizlerinin tandem duruşa etkisinin olmadığı, fakat taekwondo parametreleri üzerinde olumlu etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
Aim: This study is carried out for examining the effect of Vestibular System Exercises on balance and reaction time in Taekwondo. Material and Method: The study includes 20 men and 20 women competitors who have license in Nusaybin Gençlik Spor Kulübü in the category of cadets and juniors.The athletes are divided into two groups as control group and experimental group. It is calculated the age,height, body weight and BMI indexes of the all participants and then flamingo balance,tandem stance,functional reach,tandem gait,VAS scoring, right and left tolyochagi,panda tolyochagi, spining tolyochagi tests are conducted. Following the first measurement and 12 weeks of training, the vestibular system exercises training program is conducted to the experimental group. In this process, the control group only continues their taekwondo training. Results: According to the results of the study, while it is not found any significant differences on balance parameters and taekwondo parameters of control group in the process of 12 weeks of training, it is detected significant difference on experimental group.However, any significant differences are not detected in the both groups on tandem stance test. Conclusion: As a result, it is detected that the vestibular system exercises do not have any effect on tandem stance but they have constructive effect on taekwondo parameters.
